How To Make Taco Sauce

I don’t know about you, but I love tacos.  To paraphrase Ben Franklin, “Tacos are a gift from God because he wants us to be happy!”

Why tacos?

Because they work great with almost any filling.

Beef Tacos – You bet
Tripe Tacos – That too
Chicken Tacos – They’re great
Pork Tacos – Amazing
Fish Tacos – Surprisingly good
Venison Tacos – Very tasty – if you can find them
Duck Tacos – Another delicacy
Tofu Tacos – Why not
Egg Tacos – Great for breakfast
Vegetarian Tacos – You can – but WHY?

Despite these amazing fillings, there’s always a problem.

Often, I find my tacos are missing something… they are missing the heat and kick you need from a good taco hot sauce.

Now, I’m not talking blow your head off and spin around three times heat.

I don’t want heat that makes me feel sick. I want heat, and flavor.

At most taco shops, they have the standard – bottled brands.

You could go grab a bottle of Cholula or Tabasco?

And when I’m eating out… that’s what I do.

But when I’m making tacos at home, there are much better options.

So, why not make an amazing homemade taco sauce just for your tacos?!?

Living in the Southwest, we get some great Mexican food… and tacos are king of the hill here.

So having your own homemade taco sauce is critical.

And here’s the thing, it’s got to be good on every type of taco.

So today, I’m going to share with you two different taco sauce recipes… I promise they’ll knock your socks off!

The addition of cumin and liquid smoke really take it to the next level.
